Nkosana & Nonhlanhla

Nkosana and I met at work as new recruits at a call centre in Joburg CBD as call consultants; we started of as friends and used to go out often. The one date that brought us closer was on his birth day last year which is on 12 Jan, we went ice skating at Northgate Mall and we had a ball! That’s when we both realized that we actually enjoy each other’s company and can live harmoniously together. We both lived in Soweto with our families at the time.
I agreed to be his girlfriend in 21st March 2008 and we still continued working in the same floor as colleagues’ and lovers. It was very strange and interesting at the same time because we set opposite to each other, had lunch at the same time and even did the same shift. My life was transformed and our love continued to grow each day when we saw each other and we couldn’t miss a day without each other and the bond grew stronger.

On the 05th of October 2009 I went to do my hair and my nails suspecting nothing at all, I got a call from him saying we should meet at Spurs Westgate Mall. I got there and we ordered as usual however there was something different about him, he had that spark in his eyes. . . Oh and I adore his eyes! He called out a waiter who just came and placed a tray on our table, it was closed at the time. He asked “ open it baby” and I did. . .I saw the Sterns box and I was immediately shaking & was full of tears, I opened the box and there it was my “DIAMOND RING” with matching earrings and a chain!!

I have never cried such tears of joy before in my life, he knelt down, held my hands and then said “Nonhlanhla you know that I love you right? “Well allow me to officially take you as my wife, it doesn’t have to take me 10 years to know that you are the one I want to spend my life with” it was like the words were taken off my mouth and I couldn’t breath but managed to say “YES. . I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR WIFE, MR. MAYISELA”

We then decided to move in together last year November at Houghton village North of Joburg & it has been a total bliss waking next to him every morning and he treats me like a Queen!!
We are currently planning our long waited “BIG DAY” and we are hoping to have a small gathering by November 2009 so that we can have a honey moon to remember!!
“I never knew where I intended to go but I intend to be where I am for eternity”!!!
